Vintage Bates 56, Metal desktop Stapler, Made in USA
Another great estate sale find! This Bates 56 desktop stapler was listed for over a year before it finally sold. I do not know the age of the stapler but if I were guessing I’d say late 60s or early 70s. The all metal stapler was heavy and well made in in USA. There were several scratches that gave the desktop stapler a ton of character. The fact that this item still worked flawlessly is a testament to Bate’s Manufacturing Company.
The same buyer purchased this Vintage Bostitch Model B12 stapler. They were both packed securely and shipped to the UK.
