Is this a knife, multi-tool, or both? This Fisherman’s Solution Fillet Knife by Cutco fits into both categories. For starters, the blade on this knife is adjustable length for filleting different size fish. On the reverse side of the knife is a small latch that locks the blade into place. Once the latch is open, the blade will slide freely in and out of the handle.

The sheath for this knife is where it becomes more of a multi-tool. The sheath is made of heavy plastic and open to form a pair of pliers. The V-shaped notch in the sheath also serves a purpose. With the knife blade in the sheath there is a small section of blade exposed. The notch allows fishing line, twine, or small paracord to be easily cut.

These knives sell new for almost $200 on Amazon but used ones have sold on eBay in the $40-$75 range.
