What a throw-back! These Vintage Splatter Painted Stone Wash Jeans brought back memories for my wife, who had a pair just like them as a kid. Like most kids jeans, they suffer most in the knees. Both of the knees had been patched on this pair. The elastic top and bottoms were starting to fray, in my opinion this added to the nostalgic look of the jeans.

Items like this don’t sale because they are in perfect condition or excellent quality. They sale because of the nostalgia and rarity. I recently sold a vintage My Buddy toolbox that was covered in rust. Yes, the gentleman could have purchased a new China made tool box with plastic handles and shiny red paint. But the original patina, even the rusted through hole in the top, made this box unique.

That tool box, and these jeans have a story to tell that is unique to them. If these jeans could talk, they would probably speak of hot days on the playground, secret crushes, and Saturday morning Cartoons.
