This beauty was saved from the scrap pile! Another estate sale find, this Antique Manual Engine Crank was literally in the scrap steel bucket when I found it. I was curious what type of engine this crank belonged to so I took to the internet. After a ton of digging, I realized two things. One, that there were numerous uses for these old cranks. Two, that I would never truly know what this crank was designed for.

The lugs on this crank were somewhat flat and resembled the crank for a Model-A ford. I couldn’t say for sure that it belonged to a Model-A because the Model-A crank usually has a lug wrench on the opposite end. In the end, all that I could say for sure is that this is an old, heavy-duty crank that is still in good condition for its age.
