Vintage Wooden Birdhouse, Rustic Decorative Barn Wood

The best word to describe this Rustic Barn Wood Birdhouse is simply, “cute”. I found this vintage item at an estate sale and to be honest I don’t know why I picked it up. When my wife saw it, she said, “that’s cute”.
I do not know the backstory of the item, but the way that it is built makes me believe that it could be handmade. The birdhouse is small, it is only 5″ from front to back and probably only 8″ tall. A few of the pieces have become loose over time but it is solid for its age. This is a cool piece that I was glad to have sitting in my office until it sold.
